Plantation Panama 2008, resulted from a 3-day molasses fermentation and was distilled in a Column Still in 2008 at the Panama Alcoholes del Istmo distilleries, where it matured for 2 years in ex-Bourbon barrels.
Description
A richly aromatic palette of fruity and spicy aromas of peach, red fruits, orange peel and nutmeg. White pepper, cream, lemongrass, pear peel, honeycomb, red apple, caramelized nuts, complete its flavor profile. On the finish, strong notes of cigar, spice mix and chocolate with liquorice.
Taste: Aromas of honeycomb, red apple, caramelized hazelnuts, with hints of toffee.
Nose: Fruity and spicy aromas of peach, red berries, orange peel and nutmeg. Opens with white pepper, rich cream, lemongrass and pear peel.
Aftertaste: Long aftertaste with aromas of cigar box, various spices, notes of chocolate and licorice.
